The Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, Inc.
(CAPSLO) is a private nonprofit public benefit agency serving the county
since 1965. CAPSLO’s mission is ’to empower individuals and families to
achieve economic self-sufficiency and self-determination through a
comprehensive array of community-based programs and actions.’ CAPSLO’s
’umbrella’ of services includes Health Services; Homeless Services; Energy
Conservation Services; Child, Youth, and Family Services, Adult Day
Services; and Family Support Services. Each CAPSLO program cross-refers
clients to a variety of services provided by the agency, as well as to other
service providers and community organizations, as appropriate.
